Paul Miller, Assistant Pastor, Song Leader

When I was a young boy I realized I was a sinner on my way to hell and that Jesus Christ died in my place. After I heard the Gospel under preaching from Dr. Greg Estep I accepted The Lord as my Saviour on February 6th, 2000. I remember the exact date because that night I was baptised as a testimony to my church of what had happened.

I surrendered to preach in August of 2008 at youth camp and later attended Charity Baptist Bible Institute. After graduating with a Bachelor of Divinity in March of 2015 I began ministering with some short sermons at the local nursing homes. Later I was able to teach a 4th and 5th grade Sunday School class. The Lord even lead me to a ministry in the Public Schools where kids could hear Bible stories and the Gospel.

In April 2010 God opened a door to preach in the jail and I was able to go there on a weekly basis for the next 5 years. Then in the summer of 2018, about two and a half years after the Lord moved me here to Philadelphia Baptist Church, he reopened the door into the jail where Pastor Thomas and I have the privilege of ministering on a weekly basis.

What an honor it is to be the Assistant Pastor here at Philadelphia Baptist Church where we believe the KING JAMES BIBLE (1611) is the final authority. It really is awesome to see how God works and uses His people to minister in all kinds of ways when we surrender to His will.

II Timothy 2:20-21 – But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver; but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
