Introduction: The phrase, found 3 times in Amos (5 times total in scripture), is the request of a people in the state of rejection of God. They no longer even show a pretense of interest in God. They are:

  1. No longer willing to Listen (Amos 7:16)

  3. No longer willing to Love the things of God
  4. No longer interested in the Lingering around God’s People
  5. No longer interested in the Leading of God
  6. No longer interested in Laboring for God
