We are continuing nursing home services as usual. If you haven’t been out to visit our nursing home church you’re missing a real blessing. These folks have been a part of our church for 7 years, and we consider them a part of our family. Come out and give them an encouraging word, sing a song, or pray with them. Many of these folks have no one to visit them and brighten their days.
Service Dates/Times: 6:15pm
We want to wish Pastor a very Happy Birthday today. We are truly blessed to have him shepherd this flock.
Packets are together and we will be meeting Tuesday evenings at 6:45 to get our neighborhood assignments. Our first visitation of the season went very well with four teams canvassing streets on the east side of town. Pray for those who received the packets. Our city really needs the Lord Jesus Christ. Come out next Tuesday and get some exercise while giving the Gospel. We’ll plan another Ladies nite to replenish our packet supply very soon.
FIRST FRIDAY season is upon us. We’ll be setting up a table for June, July, August, and September. Donations for give-aways will be appreciated.
May’s First Friday came upon us so quickly, but we were able to get out and pass out many tracts before the storm hit. We were able to speak to a lot of folks, and many young people accepted the Triumph or Tragedy tract. Pray for those kids.
We’ll be working on our table presentation and getting ready for the next event. Check your schedule and plan on coming out with us. If you can make treats or crafts for give-aways, let us know.
Materials are at the printer’s now. We will be scheduling a work evening to put packets together very soon. Be much in prayer for those receiving the packets. We will be canvassing various areas, and there will be plenty of opportunities to get out and hit the streets with the Gospel. Get out your comfy walking shoes and stretch those hamstrings.
Our door-to-door visitation program will be ending for the season soon. With just a couple more weeks to go you might want to come out and take this opportunity to do something for the Lord. We’ve seen many visitors and had good responses this year and have nearly covered the entire city of Xenia. If you’re interested in going out with us give us a call and let us know so we can get you a map and packets.
Visitation season is in full swing. We have seen some interest in the church because of the packets we have been leaving on the doors of Xenia residents. The website is receiving lots of traffic, and the phone at church has had several messages requesting more information about us. The word is getting out. What are you doing on Tuesday evenings. Grab your walking shoes and hit the streets with us.
